We loved our stay at Shepherds Hut. It's a stunning location, so quiet and peaceful. However what makes it is the comfort of the hut. It is very cosy and the beds are really comfortable and the attention to detail is amazing. The hot tub and pizza oven are the cherry on the pie, completely adding to the relaxing vibe. Everything needed for camping was provided, firewood, chairs, stoves, pans, plates cutlery, eco toilet and a comfy bed with indoor seating area incase it rains. It is next to a part of the river which is shallow enough at one side for paddling and deep enough at the other to jump in, swim & snorkel. It felt safe. The cabin is on the island which we found to be a quiet cul-de-sac. Very peaceful to sit and look over what felt like our own stretch of river. Beyond the river is a bank with trees so it was very private. The cabin itself is decorated to a high standard, is very clean and has comfy beds, bedding and sofas.
