The breakfast was excellent! The host made a full vegan English breakfast and it was lovely. The host made us feel so at home and saw to our every need. The rooms and breakfast room are beautiful, cozy and sparkling clean. It is only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station to the Abbey House.

Prue was a very outgoing, friendly owner. Once she knew we liked dogs, she let her 2 dogs come out with us at breakfast. That was loads of fun to have them in the dining room and out in the garden.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The breakfast was very good. Particularly liked sitting in the terrace garden at the back of the property, unexpectedly nice and a hidden oasis. Great location right in the middle of the town and near the station.
