I checked in quite late, and sent the message earlier so the landlord kindly manage to sent the instruction on how to find my room key which I found it very helpful. With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. staff are so nice and the balcony is one of the best we have been. We did not want to leave the hotel! will definitely come back.

A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

We absolutely loved our two night stay at the Hare and Hounds. It is in our opinion like an old world coaching Inn. Nooks and crannies, the odd low headroom doorway etc. Friendly staff and enjoyed the food, breakfast was lovely. We really liked the fact that while dining there were no TVs on in the background. How many places are there now with TVs on while you are eating, absolutely stifling the art of conversation.
