Owner had a nice personality and was friendly and good to talk to. Breakfast was nice. This place seemed very clean. The Falls that was a very close (4 minutes?) walk is pretty.

Dating back to 1894 this imposing Victorian Country House is set in a beautiful location directly on the foreshore with views over the sea. All the bedrooms are designed in both modern and traditional styles with flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Situated in the hamlet of Skye of Curr in the Scottish Highlands, the Tigh na Sgiath Country House Hotel is 30 miles from Inverness. Guests can avail of free parking and can enjoy outdoors activities such as fishing, bird watching and walking. The breakfast was delicious the salmon was the best I've had, it was lovely to play chess over a few drinks in a good ambient atmosphere. Glengarry Castle offers roaring log fires, spectacular views, and beautiful gardens. Our stay at Glengarry Castle Hotel was an absolute pleasure. The room was large and light and the design of the interior is pretty similar to those gorgeous room scenes like from Downton Abbey:) In Glengarry you really feel the ambience of older times but also you have the amenities of modern days. Breakfast was perfect as well! And the library is a dream. If we are in Scotland again we will definitely book a stay at Glengarry Castle.

Located within 5 miles of Loch Achilty and Loch Ussie, this hotel is only 20 minutes' drive from Inverness. Beautiful inn. Gorgeous setting and building, surrounded by gardens. The staff was excellent.
