The lodge is beautiful, amazing food, staff were very helpful with organising the safari and taxi to our next town. The room and ensuite very clean and spacious. Overall excellent stay and good value for money.

We had me of the best sleeps there during our whole stay in Sri Lanka! They have really comfy glamping tents and huge outdoor bathrooms. The safari was THE BEST and one of the biologists who runs the lodge accompanied us and told us so much about the wildlife.

Such a nice place! Highly recommended if you want take a breake and forget about world for 1/2 nights. Ten was clean and cosy. We ate a delicious dinner in the middle of the forrest at night. Safari was very nice and what it the most important - not as commercial as others. The servise was very good! :)

Unbelievable beautiful. At the river. So cozy. The houses (actually containers which are super comfy) you are up in the trees. Incredibly beautiful! The whole place is incredible. The chill areas near the river, going for a swim - everything. It was the highlight of our two weeks in Sri Lanka. The boat safari was amazing - we saw elephants even then. The full day safari was also amazing. Lucky shot I guess, but we saw 4 Leopards and 9 Elephants. The owner, the staff and Keith made our stay special. THANKS!

We had a lovely bungalow with a big verandah. The bed was super comfy after lots of hard, thin mattresses in other hotels. The place runs like clockwork, which was great for us as we were on a tight schedule. We had a delicious buffet dinner the day we arrived and then were up early for a well organised safari the next morning. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic and his family are also lovely. I really enjoyed walking down to the lake in the afternoon.

cozy atmosphere and decent facilities, host was friendly and helpful

This was the best stay and the best host ever! I was arriving very late (11pm) and wanted to go to safari 6am next morning. Gehan organized everything for me in a very limited time! He arranged late check-in, jeep and breakfast in the morning, then lunch and taxi to my next destination! Super helpful! And the cottage itself is fantastic - clean sheets, warm water (rare in Sri Lanka), tasty food - everything was great! Highly recommended!
