Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. We had a great time in this place. It's quirky with character and we only stayed one night but you could definitely stay locked down here- wine and lots of nooks everywhere in the bar area where you can hang out at night. Bed very comfortable, plenty of towels so you don't need to bring any with you. The house is situated near the town, the Burren, Cliffs of Mother, Bunratty, etc. I very much recommend this house for your stay.
