The house was spacious with two separate bedrooms, a large living room with a couch and love seat, TV and a dining room table set for four. The kitchen had all of the amenities including a washer and dryer. But the best was an orange male iguana in the backyard. The lagoon and various restaurants and Kenn's market are within walking distance. Definitely off the beaten path for those that like the sounds of birds and an occasional howler monkey!

It was a quiet oasis in the city. We liked that we had a separate bungalow which looked like a Belizian neighborhood. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. Ice bathroom with shower. The grounds were beautifully kept with two pools. Martha’s restaurant was across the street and on the water near the BELIZE sign. Very safe. The hotel had good communication and we were transported from the airport with ease.

I loved the privacy and seclusion of the Gecko Bungalow. That definitely made it feel safe and the outdoor kitchen was amazing!! What really made it special was Scott and Michelle working hard behind the scenes to make sure I had the best time possible! We were talking like we had known each other for years!!
