Answered promptly any questions, helped me get in contact with a great local guide,Joaquim,to show me around the island and was always available in case you needed anything. Fabulous place, right in the tropical forest. The house is spacious with cosy beds, large living room, and a superb terrace. We could watch birds all morning during breakfast. We also asked for dinner, and had the best dinners in our whole holiday here! Lucindo and Maria are very nice people, Maria makes exceptionally delicios dinners and breakfasts. This was our top best accomodation in the country. Make sure to have a good 4x4 to get around, possibly a Jimny, sormal suv-s will not cope with the roads if you want to visit the mountains. This house is in the best position to have tours in the nature.

The house is very nice, the host is very kind. We asked for dinner, it was very good. The house is not in the downtown, the environment is quiet. It has air conditioning, which comes very handy. The access road is a dirt-road, in a usual surrounding as any small place in SaoTome, but the garden around the house is nice. It is a good price/value ratio, any time again. The north beaches are easily acessible from here. We could park in the garden, and they also offer car rental, which is a very good idea, we unfortunately rented from another company, and we did have issues with fuel. Had we rented from here, all the hassle would have gone. So rent their car if you book with them!

Amazing location! The view is the highlight. Principe Island is special and Atalaia helped us experience it in a unique way without the sterile resorts. The hosts are very responsive and will help with any arrangements and questions. You need to be independent, self sufficient and understand that this is an off-the-grid establishment with comfort limitations. Rain-water supply, solar power and difficult 4wd roads are part of the adventure. It has a fridge for cold beer though! I personally think you have to have your own 4wd car and have the skill to drive around the island. Arranging multiple trips to and from Atalaia would be impractical.
