Our first time visiting Skye, Donmar Cottage was a highlight. Lovely cottage in a beautiful neighbourhood. Great amenities. Washer and dryer were welcome two weeks into our road trip. Upon request, we were provided with a couple of excellent restaurant recommendations. We also picked up a few groceries in Portree, and with the well outfitted kitchen, enjoyed cooking for ourselves.

The room was very big, cosy and comfy. Nice little kitchen, great coffee machine. The host provided eggs, milk, butter at our arrival which was very nice. would highly recommend since it can be hard to get a table at a restaurant in Skye, we ended up cooking ever dinner and breakfast of our stay

It is a self-service apartment. We really felt at home in this wonderful little cottage. The apartment is exceptionally equipped with everything that you might need on your stay. The communication from the host was excellent. It is very nice and centrally located on the Isle of Skye from where each of the tourist attractions can easily be reached.

The location for seeing everything on Skye was perfect. The views from the property overlooking the landscape were beautiful. We were fortunate to have incredible weather and the Milky Way stars at night were an added bonus. The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and we loved our 7 day stay. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly as was the welcoming gifts provided upon arrival. We would highly recommend this property for all the reasons above. We loved the location, as it allowed us to explore the island's most beautiful scenery, like The Storr, Quiraing, The Neist Point and Sligachan. They were all a short drive from the cottage. Portree was only 10 minutes down the road, which gave us access to food and drink in the evenings. The accommodation itself was warm, inviting and very comfortable with everything we wanted or needed at our disposal. It was a place, where we were happy to stay when the weather wasn’t great and we wanted to rest after exploring the island. We were well looked after during our stay with breakfast items provided, towels changed regularly as well as the bedding. All whilst maintaining the unfortunate necessity for social distancing due to covid. The biggest plus about the cottage, besides the great location and the accommodation itself, were the owners Fiona and Willie. They were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable and safe as possible. We will definitely be coming back for another stay and cannot recommend The Old Nurses’ Cottage highly enough.

beautiful wee house very clean, comfortable and tidy. very cosy at night - log burner a bonus in colder weather which warmed up all rooms. would love to have stayed longer but was booked out

The apartment is located in a quiet countryside with great views of the hillside from the dinner area. Cheerful, kind and helpful hosts whom did prepare the place super clean stylised and comfy with 5 starred facilities. They are super considerate to provide us with lots of fresh eggs from their farm.since there is a shortage of eggs in the area. The kitchen is perfect with most of the seasoning, oil and spices. The coffee is wonderful too. The washer and dryer are in the laundry room next door .

This place is GORGEOUS! Very spacious for our family of 4. Kitchen was so well-stocked and we enjoyed the many games there as well as the Netflix. A short drive into town and to many scenic locations (Trotternish Loop, Dunvegan Castle, etc). Just a perfect place to unwind! Highly recommend!

The apartment was so secluded.and peaceful, our own space in and around the cabin. The hot tub was an amazing feature and the showers ran hot. We had some cute neighbors - sheep and a horse. It was wonderful waking up to their faces!
