Lovely hotel rooms, had everything we needed for a city break. The view from the room was nice, we were on the 15th floor. Staff were very helpful, they filled up our water bottles at the bar each day before going out. Upon arrival our room was not ready as we arrived early so they kept our luggage for us while we went out for the day.

The Best Culture and Nightlife this Side of a Canal
Jump on your city bike or hop on a canal boat and admire Amsterdam, the Venice of the North! The beautiful city houses, romantic bridges, iconic canals and street cafés create its unique atmosphere and give you an ultimate taste of its fascinating past.
Famous for its museums, most important of which are located in the Museumplein, Amsterdam offers you a chance to see unforgettable masterpieces by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Mondriaan and more. The Anne Frank House is a sobering reminder of the city’s more recent history. After a lot of walking, the Rijksmuseum is a great place to rest and get some extra culture before visiting Amsterdam’s lovely Vondelpark.
The medieval Old Centre with the always busy Dam Square and the tempting Red Light District is the most visited part of Amsterdam. Make sure to stop at Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein, homes to the best nightlife venues.
Shop till you drop at Amsterdam’s most luxury shopping street, PC Hooftstraat, the most popular street market at Albert Cuyp or in the fancy design shops of the Jordaan district. Famous pancakes and frites with mayonnaise are a must-try! The more adventurous traveller might want to try the pickled herring, followed closely by a local beer.
All these attractions are just a short train ride from the Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. Whether you want to stay at a cosy hotel on a canal, a modern apartment in a quiet part of the city or a room in the centre of everything, Booking.com has a perfect accommodation for your Amsterdam vacation.

Amsterdam is a vibrant city, bit in line with other major cities expect to pay premium prices for everything from snacks & beer to dinner. Budget accordingly, for example an average beer is anything from €7 up to €12 euro. There are no shortage of places to eat and drink but be aware that the prices are high. Average €25 pp for breakfast with coffee. Dutch pancakes plus coffee for 2 will set you back €50.
The transport system is phenomenally well organised, my advice is to buy a travel pass for the duration of your stay, it covers trams, buses & trains in and around the city. Most of all, take care with personal belongings as you would at home, the city centre is very very busy and remember, not everyone is on vacation….explore Amsterdam, have fun, be safe.

The one drawback was being able to access museums like Anne Frank and Van Gogh despite trying to use the o line booking 6 weeks in advance as suggested. We ended up missing out on these. Other museums were easily accessible.
We really enjoyed what we did see as well as some of the great restaurants such as Umami by Ha which was outstanding and Himalayan Kitchen, a hidden gem!
Absolutely loved the Keukenhof and all the beautiful flowers!

Amsterdam is a superb city to not only visit, but to enjoy an extended stay in. There are superb places for great food and ambiance. Examples would be Toscanini (an Amsterdam institution) and Kaagman & Kortekaas. When you go to Amsterdam you will find the people as enjoyable to be with as the city itself. It is a place where respect is comfortably exchanged. Be respectful and you will be respected. Very welcoming. Lastly, watch out for the bicycles. They travel at high speeds and expect to be watched for.

Lots of museums, the Rembrandt house was a 'surprise' quite a small but very interesting museum. Walking friendly city with lots of restaurants and shops. For dinner it can be good to reserve a table or be early in the better restaurants.

Lovely city, lots of culture & great architecture.
Lovely city, lots of culture & great architecture. Friendly, welcoming & felt very safe, even in the parts of the city you might not expect to feel safe!
Beware the cyclists, they are crazy, rarely stopping at crossings or red lights & bikes are scattered everywhere, blocking pavements. Crossing roads is the one time you feel concerned for your safety & its not from the cars! Eyes in all directions are needed.
Definitely do the canal cruise, its a great way to immerse yourself in the city & get a feel of the place. Then just walk, each corner seems to bring something new to see & photograph.

Third visit to Amsterdam and managed to do all different...
Third visit to Amsterdam and managed to do all different things. Went to same restaurants as we have in the past, Dante and Seafood restaurant plus discovered The Black Dog which was very good, great vibe. Highlights were the Lookout and De Begijnhof. Also Mocca Museum. Very sad and concerning to see so much rubbish in the canals. Stayed near Rokin just a few minutes walk to the metro which is easy, clean and efficient! Tram stop a little further but also an easy way to travel.
The hotel is situated a 2-3 min walk from the train station that takes you directly into Amsterdam Central station only 1 stop and very frequent this is an excellent location. You are not directly in the city centre so not as expensive to stay but very easy to get into centre. Total journey from hotel room to centre is no longer than 10 minutes. You can also get a direct train to and from the airport. It is highly convenient.
The beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean and modern with a sort of pop art design and the bathroom is good.
This is my place to go when I want to spend a weekend in Amsterdam. The place is so green and cosy that instantly you are transport to a chill ambient. The cocktails are really good in both places (Restaurant and rooftop bar) I like to choose a room in the 8th floor and I always pay a bit more to have a room with terrace or the Suite that has an increible V shape with awesome views. Pool and Spa are great too! This hotel for me has a great price/value ratio and I found it nicer that some of the 5 star hotels in the city.
The location north of central Amsterdam was great as it was quieter than in the city centre and yet easy to reach with a ferry from the central station which ran 24/7.
The breakfast was good, comfortable beds, nice sized rooms, good pubs/restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Good internet, breakfast was also good.
Parking is available at the hotel (20 euros per night) or outside on the street with a parking ticket which worked out cheaper than the hotel parking.
The building is modern and located close to the metro station. The city centre is just around 20/30min away counting the time to reach the metro and the trip. The hotel is efficient and business oriented but still very confortable if you want to visit Amsterdam expecially if you have a car and don't want to spend too much of parking. They have a convenient underground parking space (22.5€/night) that is cheaper than leaving the car out on the street (4.50€/h from 9-19).
Fantastic central location, close to Westerpark with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Bus stops close by to take you further into the city center. If travelling by car, we recommend parking for 1 euro a day at P+R car park Bos en Lommert. Only condition is you have to take the bus outside car park to the city, but it's easy and cheap and the bus stops 150 m away from this hotel. Same when picking up the car. Do this and parking in Amsterdam costs 1 euro a day!
We travelled primarily to watch Ajax v. Brighton in the Europa League. We had stayed at the hotel on a previous trip to Amsterdam in February and knew it was a great little hotel in a good location. We booked 4 rooms, two of which were next to each other as we'd requested. All four rooms were comfy and clean. The location is a short tram or metro trip into the city centre and quick and easy to reach from the airport. Would definitely stay again - thank you!
The location, next to Amsterdam's Centraal Station, is ideal if you plan to use the train to take day trips from the city. The staff was extremely accommodating and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. Some people complain about street noise, but Amsterdam is a lively city and it wasn't too bad. Really, all of the hotels in the city center are in old building and some noise is unavoidable. The air conditioning was solid.
The hotel is stunning with magnificent views of Amsterdam and its surroundings. Despite being one of the biggest hotels in the benelux the hotel never feels crowded. Exceptional breakfast buffet (they even went as far as paint the eggs in different colours because it was Easter). City center bit far off (not walkable) but very doable when biking (e.g. donkey bikes).
Staff..extraordinary helpful to to make my stay comfortable and smooth,Ali,Nana and all the other staff in the reception..they did their best.they deserve special thanks and 5 stars.
Location ...one of the best location in Amestrdam in terms of easy acess to public transportation and the heart of Amsterdam by walking.the neigbourhood feels so secured as well.
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was wonderfull! the staff was friendly , the location is great and it was comfortable to explore the city center by walking.
The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable.
The cleaning staff were the best ,they cleaned our room everyday and it looked like new every time we came back from a long day .
A cheap option not so far from Amsterdam centre at almost half the price compared to hotels closer to the city centre.
Pool and ping pong tables down stairs that were fun when. Really nice coffee shop near by that had excellent brunch options.
Took 12 min tram trip every morning to the centre costing 3.80 EUR per person each way.
Amazing hotel! The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The staff are friendly! The breakfast was good and the onsite restaurant ia great for dinner - try the steak! And the metro is a few minutes away for a short and inexpensive ride into the city center or other areas. One of our best stays on an extended trip to Europe.
The location was great, we were visiting for a concert at the Ziggo Dome which was only a short walk away as well as the metro station into Amsterdam was a 5 minute walk so could easily visit the city centre.
Hotel design was stylish and comfortable.
A cozy, clean and modern hotel.
Located near the museums district and Vondelpark, walking distance from city center (circle canal), great restaurants and cafes near by. And yet it's a quiet street.
Nice staff doing their best to meet your needs.
We liked room and hotel’s location. Our room was clean and comfortable so if I come to Amsterdam again I choose this hotel because It is very easy to reach the city center and the airport from the hotel. And receptionists was helpful and kind.
Hotel is located in beutifull old building close to the city centre and the main Amsterdam's attractions. A lots of shops and restaurants around. The staff is nice and helpfull. Breakfast is very simple but delicious.
The hotel is very nice with a kind and competent staff. The location is great with easy to access bus and tram lines to the city center and airport. I really would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Amsterdam.
The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, the hotel is not far away from the city centre - 3 metro stops or a few tram stops from Amsterdam Centraal station - the tram stop is just round the corner.
Okay room, Location was great actually worth it if you want a good location in Amsterdam, Tram is pretty close to the city center and lots of museum in walking distance, the hotel was worth it for what it was.
