Town didn't have a shopping center but is within short drive (5 minutes) to Raymond Terrace which has all shops required for food / clothes etc for longer stay. Heatherbrae has many service stations as well as food areas, including fast food, pie shop etc

We really liked how big the lounge room was, the good sized bathroom, and the overall cleanliness. Free parking available. The bed was clean and comfortable, and allowed us a good nights sleep. We will stay again.

Heatherbrae is right on the highway so there can be some noise at certain times , also access and egress can be an issue, That being said, it is a nice place , close to Raymond Terrace and I guess the Airport if you dont mind a 15 min drive. I like the place , Nice people, and a good place to stay on your trip.

It was just an overnight stay but disappointing.
It was just an overnight stay but disappointing. Just 1 bedroom with Queen bed and a queen bed and 2 singles in living room. One very small uncomfortable lounge chair and no sink in the dining area with only a microwave, kettle and toaster. Whole room needs renovating.

The room was very spacious and comfortable (Haven't come across a hotel with a room of that size for the money). The bathroom has been renovated since our last stay which was very nice. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. We find that The Sir Francis Drake is a great spot to break our journey.

The rooms are large and spacious. Whilst the Motel is aged a little it makes it up with the spacious rooms, modern bedding and big car spaces out front of your door. I would recommend and would consider staying here again without question. Has all the amenities you would find in a major hotel. Good value for money. Highly recommended if traveling away for work.

Location was very much a factor. Close to Raymond Terrace and even closer to the businesses I need to deal with. I just needed a bed and a shower for the night. Also, somewhere to catch up on a bit of work. The cabin was clean and had everything I wanted for my brief stay. It's close to the Pacific Highway but not on it, which does mean reduced traffic noise.

the hotel was a surprise and of all the weird motels we have stayed in whilst driving up and down the coast this motel was kooky but nice, the pool was great for the children. the motel was clean.

Great big room , lovely gardens and a great pool. Took my wife out to dinner on Saturday night at the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic food and the service was outstanding. Will stay again

It is such a great place. Clean big rooms and we just feel so at home there . I prefer it to posh hotels anyway. Great parking for our horse float too
