Brisbane International Virginia, hotel in Brighton

Set amongst 6 acres of lush tropical gardens in Brisbane’s north, this 4-star hotel features a swimming pool and a restaurant. All accommodation includes free cable TV.

Booked an executive king room which is in fact 2 single mattresses pushed together. Not comfortable at all. Staff did move us to a queen room which was helpful. Check-in and out was relatively easy but we requested late check-out due to a late flight and were quoted an extra $380!

Best Western Plus North Lakes Hotel, hotel in Brighton

Set in North Lakes, Best Western Plus North Lakes Hotel features on-site dining. The 4.5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.

The size of our spa suite was amazing! We travel alot and have stayed at many luxurious hotels at a far more higher price point and not been as impressed with the room as we were at the Lakes.

Didn't have much time to look around Brighton, did go down to the beach where there were heaps of families, couples and people with dogs wandering along the boardwalk. Very pretty area. There were a couple of fish and chip shops that was doing a roaring trade so the food must have been great as well.
