Staff were always extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spectacular with the most amazing view. The private boat cruise was unforgettable. On arrival we were surprised with a bottle of champagne and snacks as we were celebrating our anniversary- such a special touch and treat. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar overlooking the natural landscape where wildlife can often be seen. The property also offers mini-market. The location was attractive and interesting , far away from any civilization. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. .The food was excellent and well served. You need a 4x4 to get there because of the sand. Highly recommended.

Located 60 km from the town of Kasane, Muchenje Campsite and Cottages is close to the Ngoma Gate of the Chobe National Park.

Muchenje Campsite and Cottages offers three self-catering units, each featuring an open-plan kitchenette that is equipped with an oven, toaster and refrigerator. This campsite was recommended to us by other travellers and we were not disappointed as it is an excellent place to stay. The cottages and camp site are located about 15 mins from Ngoma on the Botswana side of the border. We stayed in a self-catering cottage and would describe the facilities as excellent. The cottage had a queen size bed with mosquito net, a sofa which could be used as a bed, a large ensuite bathroom with an outside shower accessed from inside the bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also an outdoor deck and table, and a braai for cooking. The reception has a well stocked shop with food, their own grown produce, and craft items for sale. There is wifi at reception area, plus complimentary tea and coffee, wit the option to buy coffee pods for the coffee machine. Staff were really helpful and organised an early check-in for us – the communication was excellent. The site also has campsites and ‘glamping’ tents, a swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Chobe river. We would definitely stay again.

African Sunsets (Bophirimo Self-Catering Guest House), a property with a garden, is situated in Kasane, 2.4 km from Baobab Prison Tree Kasane, 4.2 km from Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park, as well as 4.5 km from Mowana Golf Course. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We enjoyed the lovely garden setting of the home we rented. The gardeners kept it very nice and well maintained. Also, the cleaning team was exceptional in their daily cleaning and availability. Also, the host Miles, was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the right person for our river boat cruise. The river guide was great and shared his years of knowledge growing up in the area.

Amazing,friendly staff that went out of their way, to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The food was delicious and top level.
