The owners are very helpful and kind. The place is peaceful and most of the time quiet (depends on other guests staying there). We stayed in Casa Museo a bit longer as we need to focus on work and the internet connection was really good. if there was a kitchen, the place would be perfect.

Nice hikes all around, starting straight from the hostel. El tio is a friendly and helpful host. He gave us some pieces of advice on what to see in the area and he lent us a small rucksack for one of our day hikes. I liked the individual cabins and the spaciousness- living room with fireplace plus bedroom. Lots of nice warm blankets on the beds which was good as fire went out by midnight. I think travelers who like rustic will be happy here, and best to have some warm clothing in this area.

Marcus (the owner) and Isolina were super-friendly. The room was so clean, my wife and I loved the beds, patio, fireplace, and views. The breakfast/dinner area is so authentic too, you feel it's like a museum. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. Also, Cascada de Peguche (waterfall) is only 10 mins away. Thank you Marcus and Isolina for the great experience! I highly recommend this place if you are heading to Otavalo.
