Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Good for unloading the car because the lift goes from the Tiefgarage to the room floor. Proper metal shutters on both windows for darkness. The road is quiet at night anyway. Microwave and fridge.

Location is great. Near the city main train station Room size is ok. Two radiators keep the room warm and cozy. It was freezing outside, below freezing temperature, snow and ice and the room was almost hot. The room was spacious enough, had a desk by the window, decent size cabinet, hard wood floor. The room was clean.. In the evening, peak time for shower use, the water wasn't hot, but never cold.

The toilets are public, but there are many and very clean. The bedside is equipped with a socket and a small curtain. If you don't have a lock you can also use a temporary cabinet.

The property is very close to central station and the old town of Munich. It is beautifully appointed and I loved the fact that windows could open and also be shuttered of a night to reduce street noise. The staff were always happy.

Compact organised apartment utilizing space very well. Surprising a washing machine was accomodated although we didn’t use. Equipped well enough to prepare simple meals. Great shower and lovely toiletries supplied. Only became aware of the blackout shutters as we were due to leave although curtains were of good quality controlling any light ingress. In person check in was appreciated.
