Couldn't recommend this highly enough. Located close to Stansted Airport (but far enough away the planes don't bother you) it's ideal for a short stay whether catching a flight or exploring the local area. The accommodation itself is worthy of a 5 Star rating, it's like walking into a top class hotel room. Paul the host greets you on arrival and has refreshments waiting inside, a lovely gesture after a long journey. The annexe is warm and comfortable, wifi is great and there's an amazing TV. What more could you ask for.

I traveled to get out for a weekend, see the nearby war museum in Duxford, and it fully met my expectations for comfort and peace. Great nearby food options for the evening (the host will gladly advise you) Will stay again.

    Very very clean! Nice to have offroad parking. Good location to local amenities - can walk to local pub, there is an Indian, fish and chips, pharmacy and shop within walking distance. The home had good refreshments and basic needs like porridge, milk and cookies. Beds very comfy. Christina very friendly. Washing machine helpful - got our things clean before we went home. Will stay here again when visiting family in Essex. A privilege to stay in a property with so much history.

    Perfect location for stansted airport, staff very kind and showed us to our room. Paid £70 for the night would of liked it to be a tad cheaper but cannot complain as room was very clean and comfortable. As expected being next to the airport it was very noisy outside so not as easy to fall asleep but suited us perfectly for somewhere to sleep for a few hours before our early morning flight. Complimentary tea & coffee with biscuits.

    We were in the area to attend a family wedding. Hunter meet was an ideal location for us to stay. The hotel was much more then we expected and what a Gem of a place. Friday night Lionel Richie tribute act was great and got us in a great mood for the weekend. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were a very good size, clean and comfortable. There was a good selection for breakfast and you could have a choice of fried, poached or scrambled eggs all cooked freshly. We would certainly like to return to Hunter Meet again.

    The staff were wonderful, warm and friendly, you could feel that you were staying somewhere that was a part of the community. The bed was comfy and it was very clean. Good value for money. Location excellent, very picturesque.

    Lovely apartment in a great location. Ideal to commute to Stansted Airport from. Andrew, our host, was absolutely fantastic in making sure the apartment was very conformable and also picked us up from Stansted for a much cheaper price than a taxi. Would definitely stay here again and recommend other people to book here as well.

    The room was large and very clean. The beds were super comfy with lovely fresh clean bedding. The bathroom appeared brand new and everything was spotlessly clean and shiny with a really good shower. For a budget hotel the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. We did not suffer any noise from outside despite being on the junction which we liked to people watch.

    Really surprised after reading some terrible reviews but this place was actually quite lovely. it’s a beautiful old quirky English building in a really handy location. As a budget travel option this is really great. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended if you are looking for an inexpensive, practical option.
