Villa Rira is an incredibly peaceful and relaxing place, far removed from the usual tourist spots. The warm hospitality of the host family really made our stay special – they were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed delicious meals made with fresh ingredients straight from their own garden, which added a lovely personal touch to our dining experience.
Unfortunately, it rained during our visit, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The hosts lit a cozy fireplace in our bedroom, making the atmosphere even more charming. Although we didn’t get the chance to go hiking due to the weather, the villa is located near a national park that’s known for its great trails.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Villa Rira!

We were warmly greeted. Our apartment was big, new, and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. The town is tiny with limited dining choices, however you can order food from the accomodation if ordered by lunch time. A lot of wonderful preserves are available to purchase from the local ladies. Private parking was available in the church yard. Such a quiet beautiful setting that can be enjoyed on your balcony. It was like going back in time in this traditional little village.

Fantastic view of Ohrid lake from the balcony, very spacious apartment and a super friendly host (although we had to use translator to communicate). I can only recommend this place.
