Excellent location in downtown and walking distance to the railway station. The apartment was comfortable for our stay with the toddler as we had a full separate bed. The aperture is very spacious. Everything was brand new and working well. The decor was nice. We are happy we chose this place.

The owners, Sibylle and Lucas, were wonderful to deal with and the property was excellent. The bonus was that it is located over one of the best boulangeries in Annecy, and close to a number of excellent small shops (chocolaterie, fromagerie, etc etc). The areas is also very quiet and safe. The private off-street parking was only a short away and was a bonus!! Wifi was excellent. If you use the local buses, the no. 5 bus stop is only a few steps away.

This place definitely delivers. Everything wonderful. Great communication, great kitchen, I loved cooking here! In the US we have corporate-captured toxic food, so to cook with wholesome, quality ingredients as available in France was a joy and this kitchen made it fun. Clearly the hosts care about their guests and that care is reflected in every detail. We will always remember our three nights here and hope to return some day. Annecy is magical, not to be missed! Anne-Sophie, our host, was amazing. She recommended us good place to visit in the areas. Helped us to book activities and kindly organised for us the sauna or Roman bath. On top of that, she would always follow up with an extra touch to make us truly feel like home. My partner and I wanted her to adopt us but realised that’s not something you can ask to people generally. I really recommend the Hydge lodge, especially if you go as a couple. It is very relaxing and as I described earlier, our host was amazing and kind.
