Lovely staff who were always attentive and have always went above and beyond helping us with everything - from organizing our tours to preparing us breakfast. We also recommend the dinner which is very tasty and plenty of serving. The fish plus the spicy sauce on our last night was really good. Midian, one of the staff, and now our new friend, will make you feel safe and at home. he toured us around the neighbourhood with his friends where we had a true authentic Nubian experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Aswan. The owner was also very kind and made sure we were always looked after. Overall, we loved our time!

Perfect setting, very nice staff, excellent advice and help with trip planning. Breakfast outdoors by the Nile is the best way to start the day. Elephantine Island was the highlight of our time in Egypt. We stayed for 4 nights but 7 would have been better.

It is a family run business and Ahmet and Mohammed were excellent hosts, welcoming us with hibiscus tea. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and they gave us a breakfast to takeaway for our early morning flight. We got a good taste of Nubian hospitality staying at Lawanda.
