The view is really amazing, it‘s close to the ferry to Aswan city center (about 2 min walk) but very tranquil and quiet, there are no cars on Elephantine island. The room is big, newly renovated and very clean. The Host Ahmed is always available for any request and very hospitable. He helps with any tours you could book or anything else you might need during your stay. I can only recommend to stay here!

A great laid back place to stay on the West Bank, close to the public ferry and the tombs of the nobles. The facilities are new and clean. The owners and his family are super hospitable. We also ordered lunch which was delicious. No regretting we have chosen the place and we will definitely come back.

We stayed for one night at ABU Guest House, and I regret not having stayed there every night we were in Aswan. Mr. Abu was extremely welcoming, the rooms are super comfortable, well-decorated, and very, very clean. He even ofered us a bigger room for free. The dinner and breakfast prepared by Mr. Abu's wife were the most delicious we had in Egypt. He also took us on a boat ride around Elephantine Island, showing and explaining everything. At the end, he also offered us a massage session... very relaxing! In short, it was truly a pleasure to have stayed at ABU Guest House. If I could rate them more I would because they really deserve

We stayed at La Terrace for one night. We arranged for airport pick-up for USD12 as we were arriving late. The driver dropped us off at the pier, we took the public ferry and the owner, Mohammed met us and helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Travel to the hotel was easy and not too much trouble. There are restaurants near the hotel as well which is quite convenient. Our rooms were clean, tidy and we had 3 large beds which were comfortable enough. Hair dryer was provided on request. There's also a terrace which you can sit at and enjoy the view of the Nile. The hotel met our expectations and is good value. We didn't have much time to explore the area, but we did go to a restaurant (King Jamaica) nearby which the owner recommended. Food was good as well. The real star is the owner. He was very responsive to our questions and helped us arrange for a car and driver to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also recommended his contacts in Luxor and Cairo who helped us arrange a car, driver and guides for when we needed them. I would highly recommend arranging your travels in Egypt with Mohammed. We would have stayed for a second night if we could!

We spent 2 nights here . Wish we spent more . So sad to leave this place ! The room was exactly like the pictures . Spacious and clean , has all what you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom has hot water as well . The view from the Roof is breathtaking and so peaceful. We had an amazing breakfast there as well as dinner that we asked the host to prepare it for us. Just one word FANTASTIC and so tasty. The host ( Doha ) was taking care of us , helped us do a boat tour and arranged Abu simble trip for us ; When we had to leave at 3:40 am for it , she even packed breakfast for us to take away. Honestly such a sweet and thoughtful gesture . We felt very welcomed and they treated us like guests not like strangers. One important thing is that the hosts were very honest too ! I can’t recommend this place enough . - the location is also very convenient: 5 min by car from train station and then 5 min max by the public ferry boat.

We had a great stay at Kano Kato! The host Ahmed is very nice and helpful! The room was nice, clean, and the guest house is beautiful located just at the Nile bank. It was very easy to cross from Elephantine Island to mainland. I can highly recommend others to stay here when visiting Aswan. Thank you Ahmed and co-staff for a great stay!

Everything was perfect, the view is to die for, we didn’t want to leave the room at all just for the view. Ahmed was extremely helpful and kind, he gave us advice on what to see in Aswan and how to go there. The breakfast was included, typical Egyptian breakfast but you will always taste something different and delicious. Can’t recommend the place enough and will definitely be back whenever I get the chance

The hotel was beautiful and modern, located on the quiet Elephante island. It has very clean, light, cool rooms. A great terrace where excellent breakfast is served, as well as lunch or diner if you want. Very hospitable staff, truly wonderful people. They also offer good service with excursions to Abu Simbel, or felucca tours. There are very good restaurants very closeby (King Jamaica, Bob Marley. The food there is worth waiting for 35-60 minutes). This hotel is also a great introduction to the Nubian village.

The room is very clean and the space in front of the house is big so that we can easily park our car. We had dinner and breakfast at the nearby Nubian Holiday House, which is also Habibi’s. It’s a very lovely place with Nile view, and we played pool and darts for a bit while waiting for our meal. It’s a really surprise for us in this village. Habibi is very nice and warm, checking on us in the evening and morning and make sure everything is fine with us. We enjoyed the stay very much!
