The room was clean and modern with a comfortable bed. Good proximity to the centre of Paris. We used a taxi that took about 10 minutes to the Eiffel tower. The Host is very friendly and helpful and gave a clear instructions as to how to get to the boat. Parking is actually off street which was a bonus to us. Would highly recommend.

Escale Sur Seine provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 5.6 km of Palais des Congrès de Paris and 6.2 km of Eiffel Tower.

A unique experience in a lovely area of Paris I had not visited before. It was a great adventure and well worth trying at least once. Friendly and helpful host, who lives nearby.

Unique/exciting experience to be on a barge. The location is stunning. e.g view of Seine. Good area away from tourist traps We arrived later than expected but the hosts waited for us.

It was the most beautiful canal/river boat. Full of charm. The only traffic was the fish and ducks swimming alongside. It was a peaceful, calming retreat yet just across the bridge there are shops and restaurants. the walk to the train station is probably about 20 minutes. There is central heating on the boat but best to check with the owners as to whether it is on. There is also a wood burning fire to add to the delight of the sunken lounge. The owners are delightful and helpful beyond words. A most pleasurable and memorable stay was had.

Location was lovely on the river Seine with boats passing all the time. Train station was 5mins in the car, train was 40mins into centre of Paris. I’m 6 foot tall generally ceiling height was okay.
