Peaceful, very well furnished, perfect location (5 minutes apart from Hawaii volcanoes national park), super clean.. everything you can really need during a holiday is provided by the lovely Pam and Dean! Also they gave us very useful highlights for visiting the park during our stay. Continental breakfast was abundant and delicious. We have travelled a lot in the past years, but we can definitely say that Pam and Dean’s bnb is one of the best where we have ever stayed. thank you very much!

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast, excluding the cottage. Wonderful location, in one of the most beautiful parts of Maui. So much nicer than staying in a resort hotel. So peaceful - just the sound of the river and birds - with fabulous views, a comfortable room and delicious breakfasts left on our own patio/fridge for the next day. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.

The Pacific Tsunami Museum is 600 metres from Hilo Bay Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast, while Mauna Loa Observatory is 600 metres away. The nearest airport is Hilo Airport, 4 km from the property. Brian and his wife were amazing hosts providing us with lots of ideas and tips re what to do. Breakfast was amazing (can basically have anything you’d like!), provided a beautiful fruit plate, juice, tea/coffee. The macadamia and coconut pancakes were amazing. Everything is there for you for a great stay - beach towels, binoculars and headlamps for visiting the volcano, umbrellas, boogie boards, snacks, fresh fruit… you name it - nothing is a problem!

The Ocean View Suite was very, very pretty, it was super clean, we had lots of room and there was everything what you need including a small kitchen with a fridge inside the room but also a bigger kitchen for everyone. We had a very nice stay here and would definitely come back. Also the bathroom and the bed and everything else had a very high standard and in total this was the best stay we had in Hawaii.
