What a lovely little find! We stopped on our way to Scotland for the night and happy that we did. The shepherds hut was cost, so comfortable and had an amazing shower! We went for dinner at The Apple Inn and they made us feel very welcome. Very dog friendly for those travelling with pups (ours is reactive, and they were very understanding!). Lovely breakfast included too.

Staff were amazing and so helpful and provided us with some bits we’d forgotten. Food was excellent and plentiful whatever we requested. Location in the village was perfect. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have done any more than they did to make our stay memorable.
