You will certainly not be disappointed if you stay here. Seriously, do it. From the hosts to the decor to the atmosphere to the facilities and the rooftop kitchen and breakfast area it's amazing. The hosts are lovely, and located just across the road from the guest house in case you need assistance with anything. A 2 minute walk from the main high street where you have all the shops and cafes and restaurants.

Very friendly and very helpful and welcoming. Elho (I can't spell his name), the son of the owner was especially helpful. They also heated up my beans I bought from the shop and gave me onions and a delicious piece of cake with cream. They didn't have to do this and this shows how kind and welcoming they are. The house is located in a rural area outside of the city Porto Novo, so you have literally couple of kilometers of beaches just for yourself. It’s great quiet place, ideal for morning or evening runs! The house has all the equipment for cooking, warm water, an OK wifi. It’s beautifully furnished, vegan breakfast option is possible! If you don’t rent a car, be sure to bring enough drinking water and food from the city. Any taxi can drive you there from Porto Novo for 500 CVE (aprox 5€), walking there is an option but not the best idea during the hottest part of day 11-15:00.

Really sweet and accommodating hosts, the setting is otherworldly, it really feels like being on a different planet being surrounded by such a volcanic landscape. Peaceful sunrises with the singing sound of a couple buzzing bees and incredible sunsets, not to mention the night sky filled with stars. The house itself, situated just outside of Porto Novo, is beautiful and cosy too. The beach is right at the bottom and you can walk to the center by it.  We immediately booked another night here for our return to Porto Novo.

It's a very quiet and green place away from the nearby city of Porto Novo (2km away by foot), close to the ocean, the sandy beach and the sound of the waves. The flat has everything you may need to cook, live and sleep comfortably. The host, Anny, is always helping in case something would be needed. She brought us some fresh bread, gave us some cookies before a hike, organized hikes, gave tips, or even drove us to the city to shop, as we didn't have a car. She went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, she was absolutely a true gem!
