Great experience! From the moment we arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a location for us with a jungle vibe. We would definitely recommend staying there. Highlight was the private diner on the lookout deck.

I've just had the most amazing 3 day stay at the family run Harini Villa. It's situated a 5 min walk from the main Junction bus stop & restaurants & it's lovely & peaceful. The room itself was perfect & spotless with a lovely patio area at the front where I had an amazing breakfast while watching the birds & monkeys. Breakfast was made & served by Dinu & it was delicious. Dinu took care to accommodate my request for gluten free food which I'm very grateful for. She also introduced me to a new dish each day (in addition to what else I was served). I had lovely chats with Wicky the owner, he was very attentive & made sure I had everything I needed & was comfortable. Pathum took me on a trip to Polonnaruwa & was a safe & efficient driver & he also made a suggestion to add in a trip to the Spice garden on the way back, which was very enjoyable. All up I would highly recommend staying at Harini - the beautiful & kind family will look after you. I hope that one day I will be able to stay here again - thankyou so much for looking after me!

It’s nature’s paradise! Perfect location, great food and very comfortable stay. Our host Dinuka made our stay beyond comfortable. He helped us arrange elephant safari, village tour, scooter rent, our travel from airport to Sigiriya and also to the next destination with comfort. Highly recommend Coconut Shades resort and would definitely come back.
