The guest house is on the hill but you can go easily by foot in the city, it’s not too far.

The villa is 3.8 km away from Kandy Railway Station. You can also check out Ceylon Tea Museum, 1.8 km away and Kandy's Royal Botanical Gardens, 3 km way. Bandaranaike International Airport is located 81 km from the property. Ok, if you are a self-driver and you have to arrive at night at the hotel the road is very, let's say interesting 🤔🙂 But when you get there it is paradise. Best rooms, best food, best breakfast, not only nice and polite employees but as well very professional. We have been in many hotels. This was for sure one of the top 3 in Sri Lanka. Overall I think it was our favourite hotel during all stay off the coast. Thanks for everything.

Everything was spotless and well maintained. I’d happily return and definitely recommend it to others.

The suite was massive , proper roomy , with floor-to-ceiling glass that gave us unreal views of the mountains. Felt like waking up in a dream. The whole place has this fresh, modern vibe, but it’s tucked in the middle of nature, so you’re completely surrounded by lush green beauty. Every night, we even spotted fireflies dancing outside ,haven’t seen those since we were kids! Gave us full-on goosebumps. Then came the cherry on top – a candlelit dinner under the stars just for us. No other guests, just the two of us and the sky above. Pure romance. Felt like we were on the set of a movie. And the food? Next level. Most of it came straight from their own garden – how good’s that? Dinu, the chef and co-host, whipped up some mouthwatering homemade Sri Lankan dishes that we’re still dreaming about. Everything tasted like it was made with love – and a bit of firewood magic. Don’t even get me started on the pool – absolutely huge, with views to die for. The best bit? They only host one couple at a time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Talk about VIP treatment! If you’re chasing something quiet, romantic, and a bit fancy without being stuffy, this is it. Tea Heritage isn’t just a stay – it’s a memory-maker. 10/10 from us.

This holiday home includes 2 bedrooms, a living room and a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dining area, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality.
