It's a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely view of the surrounding natural area with many bats flying around at night, which was amazing to see. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were happy that they arrved dinner until 10pm. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

I love everything about my stay in Kandy Fortress and feel fortunate I have met Kumari, one of the nicest people on the island. She is people's person, will do anything to make your stay memorable in her happy home. Love her cooking, positivity and her attitude.

The villa is 3.8 km away from Kandy Railway Station. You can also check out Ceylon Tea Museum, 1.8 km away and Kandy's Royal Botanical Gardens, 3 km way. Bandaranaike International Airport is located 81 km from the property. The grounds and the facilities are perfect. The chalet rooms are excellent and give you the feeling of being in the jungle. The staff, especially Chulan, are superb and happily arranged tours and hikes. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The location was perfect for what we were looking for - peaceful and quiet, surrounded by lush nature and a 10-15 minute ride from Kandy and 5 minutes from the Botanical Gardens. The hosts were lovely, especially grandpa who taught us how to make our own roti. The room was very specious and funky, lovely decorated, the pool clean and the veranda was perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We usually go for budget-friendly hotels, but this time we were searching for something exclusive, picturesque, and with a good vibe. That’s when we found Tea Heritage and it was everything we hoped for and more. We absolutely loved their “one couple at a time” policy. It was just the two of us in the entire property it felt like our own private resort. The suite was by far the largest bedroom and living room we stayed in during our entire trip. It’s not just a room, it’s a full-on glass pavilion with stunning mountain views. And the private pool the biggest we've ever had to ourselves was a dream. The host personally took us to a hidden sunset spot just a short walk away, and it was breathtaking. We're into yoga, and they even arranged a private yoga session with a teacher just for us. We also booked an Ayurvedic massage, and it was absolutely fabulous deeply relaxing and authentic. This place gave us privacy, nature, luxury, and a warm, personal touch. We’ll definitely be coming back next time. Tea Heritage is a rare gem a truly private and unforgettable escape.

My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. The villa is beautiful, with a green garden area with an open terrace and lounge. Among the facilities at this property are fully equipped kitchen facilities and guests can enjoy their own cooking free Wi-Fi throughout the property. If you are in Kandy and want a peaceful out of town stay, this villa is for you 👌
