Constant follow-up and updates from Kanchana is highly appreciated. The mornings are welcome by peacock sound from the bushes from the rear of the residence.

We loved it so much that we kept extending. It was, therefore, an obvious choice for our 2nd visit. The constant dedication and quality service provided by our friendly hosts and staff will always be a winner in our book. We have become good friends, and just like last year, we keep extending. If you're looking for comfort accompanied by great, friendly service at a very affordable price, this is unbeatable. Rohan and his staff take such excellent care of their guests that you'll immediately feel at home. From the delicious breakfasts, fruit juice during the day, to cleaning and keeping their accommodations well taken care of, they constantly cater for whatever you may need or want. The location is outside town, about 15 min by tuk tuk, on the hills, surrounded by lush greens. The observation deck near the room, cum dining room offers a wonderful view of the area and is my favorite spot for my early morning coffee, admiring the many colorful birds, kingfishers, hawks and eagles surrounding us. At night, flying foxes keep us company, as well as the fireflies. The lake is about a 20 min walk from the residence, using the shortcut. The owners have 3 big cuddly dogs and 1 beautiful fluffy Kitty. They're kept downstairs, while the guestrooms are upstairs. If you indicate to the owner that they may present a problem to you, he will make sure that their pets never interact with you. We love them all, so we are always happy to see them when they come up to greet us. Thank you, Rohan, Anusha, and their staff for making our stay so enjoyable despite this year's bad weather. We wish we could stay here longer.

This is a very pleasurable accommodation with a very calm, welcoming and pleasurable vibe as well as a highly attentive staff. It was my daughter's birthday and upon mentioning this, Raj secured a cake and even some presents so we were able to celebrate. Overall a great experience!

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Booked Tea Heritage for our anniversary and honestly… my wife was stoked! As soon as we walked in, we knew we’d hit the jackpot. The suite was massive , proper roomy , with floor-to-ceiling glass that gave us unreal views of the mountains. Felt like waking up in a dream. The whole place has this fresh, modern vibe, but it’s tucked in the middle of nature, so you’re completely surrounded by lush green beauty. Every night, we even spotted fireflies dancing outside ,haven’t seen those since we were kids! Gave us full-on goosebumps. Then came the cherry on top – a candlelit dinner under the stars just for us. No other guests, just the two of us and the sky above. Pure romance. Felt like we were on the set of a movie. And the food? Next level. Most of it came straight from their own garden – how good’s that? Dinu, the chef and co-host, whipped up some mouthwatering homemade Sri Lankan dishes that we’re still dreaming about. Everything tasted like it was made with love – and a bit of firewood magic. Don’t even get me started on the pool – absolutely huge, with views to die for. The best bit? They only host one couple at a time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Talk about VIP treatment! If you’re chasing something quiet, romantic, and a bit fancy without being stuffy, this is it. Tea Heritage isn’t just a stay – it’s a memory-maker. 10/10 from us.

My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality.
