This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

The location, peaceful and scenic. Seating outside and inside. Care, connection and conversation was welcomed and insightful.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

The property has garden and city views, and is 5.9 km from Gregory Lake. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This place is even better than the photos. It’s a two story villa with a well equipped kitchen, upstairs bedroom with views forever, and the bath was a very special treat. We felt so at home here, cooked ourselves a meal with vegetables from the stall next door and relaxed on the comfy couch. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the walks that can be accessed directly from the property. The staff a delightful. Highly recommend.

Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. The location could not be more perfect. A gorgeous cottage right in the middle tea fields, you could not ask for a better way to experience the Nuwara Eliya/ Nanu Oya hill country. The staff were exceptional in theory professionalism and friendliness. The fppd was exquisite. And the view will be forever seared into my memory as what heaven might look like. If you manage to pull yourself away from the delights of the cottage, the Somerset Tea Factory tour was absolutely exceptional. My friend had already been on a tea factory tour and for me the trip was really perfunctory (when in Rome) but it was absolutely fascinating, I learned so much. I could not recommend it more. A top tea-er experience!!
