I had to take a taxi from Castries as the buses were infrequent and it was a free for all when they arrived! I arrived late at the property but the owner, Carshina, who lives upstairs was there to meet me. The tastefully decorated and modern studio is very well appointed and quiet. It is the perfect location in Soufriere, a few minutes’ walk from the centre in a quiet area, convenient for stores and bus station (I did not have a car). Carshina kindly ordered some food to be delivered. She is a great host! After walking around the town, I think this is probably the best location and property available!

We spent as 1 couple and me as a single person 2 wonderful family weeks in the house. The house is very spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and really big. It is equipped with everything you need and is lovingly and thoughtfully furnished. The view of the sea is incredible, both from the beautiful large terrace, various terraces around the house and from the two large bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom we did not use, but is also a nice room. The garden is very well maintained and it was always very quiet. The evening sunset is beautiful. We already miss the view very much. The hosts were always available if we had any questions and were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived late in the evening from the airport and after basic shopping from the supermarket, we were delighted with the fruit and the very tasty chilled white wine, as well as 3 bottles of water. Thanks again for that! The bedrooms were also pleasantly cool for us on arrival thanks to the air conditioning. With our rental car we were able to explore the island wonderfully from the house. We are glad that we had a four-wheel drive rental car, as the last section up to the house is very steep, but not at all complicated. However, if you plan to explore the island, a four-wheel drive car is recommended anyway. We hope to come back again. Thank you for your hospitality Colette and Trevor!!!

The apartment was very spacious and had a fantastic view of the town and the Pitons. We spent a lot of time on the balcony looking at this view. Yes, the property is on a hill that you need to climb daily, but that’s the price you pay for this amazing view! It’s also a very doable hill, just take it slow! Very clean apartment, very comfortable, had everything we needed for a one week stay. Was also very well priced, especially given general costs in the area. Also had a very effective aircon system. Has a great plunge pool too. This was a lovely extra for a week long stay and we used it a few times, along with the comfortable sun loungers. Would also like to mention Whitney who helped us with transport and suggestions for trips and restaurants during our time in Soufriere. Whitney was brilliant, super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and very quick to respond to all the messages we sent him. I can’t recommend Sugarmon Villas enough for your stay in Soufriere.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Located right in the heart of Soufriere, it’s close to everything—restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and even an ATM, making it incredibly convenient. Garfield and Ava who own the house are wonderfully helpful and attentive, ensuring you have everything you need for a perfect stay. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with all the appliances you could need. The highlight, though, is the amazing balcony with breathtaking sea views—it’s an unforgettable spot to watch the sunset. If you enjoy immersing yourself in the local culture and being surrounded by friendly locals, this is absolutely the place for you. It’s a truly special experience!
