The little notes and labels throughout the flat were very helpful and very adorable. The kitchen was well outfitted, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom and laundry area very nice. The only negative is that the place is so nice that you may not want to go out sightseeing, but rather stay in theively apartment.

The Magome Wakihonjin Museum is within 28 km of the holiday home. The property is non-smoking and is set 19 km from Kotoku-ji Temple. Very atmospheric century-old minshuku. It was a great place to stay after walking from Magome to Nagiso. The host kindly greeted us when we arrived and explained everything clearly. Would definitely book again if we visit Nakasendo in the future.

Dancru Netz hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort and the Hakuba Saegusa Museum. Hakuba Station is 12 minutes away by car, and the Hakuba 47 Mountain Sports Park can be found less than a 30-minute drive away. Breakfast was amazing, facilities are spacious, including the drying room. Hosts were lovely, helpful, and very accommodating.

The host Akira is wonderfully kind, and speaks great English. I booked last minute and Akira went out of his way to make my stay as smooth and easy as possible. The guesthouse is also walking distance to a great supermarket, and Hotaka Station is just 10 mins away on foot.
