Would recommend to anyone looking for a more sophisticated yet still affordable stay, with all the western comfort you would need and more. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Palm Leaf Cottage has breathtaking views! The property stands on the top of a tall hill in Moy Hall, Jamaica and overlooks the beautiful Caribbean ocean. My wife and I were elated to stay here for the duration of our trip, and for my birthday. The cottage itself, is so very peaceful and serene. Our only alarm clock in the morning, was the sounds of the cool island breeze and of birds chirping just outside of the window. Our host Byron, went out of his way to accommodate us with anything that we wanted or needed. He is also a professional taxi driver on the island; so not only was he able to conveniently get us to and from the airport, but he was also able to comfortably and safely shuttle us anywhere on the island that we desired to go. If you ever are in need of a place to rest and relax in Jamaica, this is the place to be! It’s truly a home away from home!!

Towels and bed linen are featured in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. Many things to say about this place - 1. The location - Near to airport and walkable distance to Doctor's Cove Beach, Harmony Beach Park & Old Hospital Park. Our favorite Bollywood Dhaba Indian restaurant also just nearby. 2. The house - It has everything, even beach toys and a bag to carry them around!! All bedrooms have attached bathrooms; the washer/dryer came much handy for us!! There are some kid friendly games as well. 3. The amenities - Needless to say that the pool was good, but the best part for my kids was the park just near the house which doesn't feature even in the pictures. It is a decent sized open space with few swings and a climbing structure as well. My son enjoyed playing soccer also here. 4. The community - As the listing says "Mobas Las Palmas", we kept saying the same to immigration and taxi drivers at airport but they did not seem to understand that this was located at "Chatham Palms" which is the name of the community and a more familiar name to everyone around. Whoever reading this review - I suggest referring this place as "Chatham Palms" :) My kids made a few friends here who are Jamaicans; easily a family friendly community. We enjoyed walking around as well. The security is so helpful and friendly too. So glad to have booked this place! If we ever come back, we will definitely book this again.
