Egilsstadir village is a 5-minute drive away. The Hallormsstadaskógur Forest is 25 km from the cottages. A cozy, clean cottage in a beautiful, quiet location with an incredible lake view, on our way through stunning Iceland. The cottage isn't very large, but it's perfectly adequate for two. Be ready to keep it clean and leave it tidy after yourself. There's nothing to complain about. Thank you so much for the perfect accommodations.

The villa with a terrace and sea views features 3 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 1 bathroom with a shower. Towels and bed linen are provided in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. New, comfortable home with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Lovely views and the property is at the end of the street so very quiet. It has a wrap around decking and plenty of parking. The house is warm, the beds are comfortable, internet is fast, tv is large, and the kitchen has everything you need.

The house in the sleepy, remote village is one of the few accommodations in the area offering all amenities (including a washer and dryer) and the comfort of staying alone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Overall, the house possesses some continental European flair, which feels nice.

It was spotless, beautiful view, had everything we needed and more, and the hosts were very responsive.

Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. This is a beautifully designed/decorated place. Although it is on the small side they have done an excellent job of making everything as comfortable as possible. Everything is well thought out and made for a comfortable 1 night stay. Loved the duck lamp!

We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.
