Lovely hosts met us on arrival, the house was warm and snug and the stove was on. The house is exceptional, newly renovated to an excellent standard, everything is brand new and immaculate. Comfy beds and great showers. Beautiful rural location with stunning views.

Situated in Athlone, in a historic building, 12 km from Athlone Institute of Technology, Cottage near Glasson village is a recently renovated holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. Boasting bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely quaint cosy cottage, had everything we needed, very clean and plenty of essentials provided eg bread, milk, breakfast cereals, toiletries, fire wood.

The property is non-smoking and is set 33 km from Loughcrew Estate and Gardens. We stayed for a family wedding in Mullingar and it was a great base for a group. Good location being a minute's walk to Aldi and close to town. Very spacious with everything you'd need. Hosts were really helpful and responsive when we needed them. Would recommend and use again for sure 😊

What more can we say when you wake up with birds singing and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. We will be back if we visit Athlone again.

Just returned from the most relaxing weekend spent at Pheasant Lane. When I say this place is a hidden gem, it really is. Geraldine was so lovely and showed us around the facilities. We loved the hot tub and the sauna at night. The fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter was fab. Special mention to how comfy the beds were! We all slept amazingly. I will be recommending Pheasant Lane to everyone I know - I already can’t wait to come back 😊

This is a great place for a couple who want to chill out or use it as a base to explore Ireland. The host really made us comfortable without intruding and we had everything and more that we needed. Simple things like condiments, bathroom basics and logs for the fire - all really useful things. We liked the isolated location and the log fire as well. It's basically a studio bungalow, for want of a better description - so perfect for a couple.
