The cottages are done out lovely. Very nice finish and loads of space. Little treats for the kids on arrival and boardgames and tv there aswell. Only 5 minutes away from tesco super store in maynooth so handy to fly down for all the breakfast ingredients. There's a giant chess board outside so the kids went out and played that while breakfast was been cooked. We stayed here as we were going to the Dublin zoo light show which was only 20 minutes away so was nice as we didn't want to be in the city center. Very nice stay and told family and friends when I got back so next time a few family's can go together.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. An absolute gem of a cottage. Private, cozy, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need for a self catering stay. The hosts are an amazing couple, so friendly, extremely responsive and nothing is too much trouble. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, and a generous sized lounge, so we had ample space to spread out. The log fire is fully functional, and while the cottage is warm already the log burner was a bonus just for a cozy night while the rain fell. There’s parking right outside the cottage door. A car is a must to explore, but there’s regular bus links to Dublin a few minutes from the property and the easy walk into Celbridge is enjoyable and takes about 10 minutes. If you want to cook, there’s big supermarkets 5 mins drive, or takeout deliveries are also available. In short… We will stay here again.

The Farm Cottage is set in Athy, 21 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre, 21 km from Carlow Courthouse, and 21 km from Carlow Town Hall. With free private parking, the property is 3.2 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 21 km from The Curragh Racecourse. The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from County Carlow Military Museum. I highly recommend this place as a place to stay. Located southwest of Dublin about a 60-minute drive, its location allowed us to take day trips to almost the entire country. Going north into Northern Ireland made for a 12 hour day, but was easily doable.. The owners, John and Delores, are next door. They are very friendly and have two dogs that are absolutely attention hounds. Bella, the larger one is a hoot. The cottage has two bedrooms that allow for better privacy. We watched a couple of fox play in the field.. Lots of birds provided music to drink coffee and watch the sunrise or sunset on the little patio. Little snacks were provided along with some potatoes from the owners. You have a selection of places to shop. I recommend shopping at Pettitt's suoer value for groceries qq+q+qq+and Conlons Family 7

The property has an outdoor dining area. Very comfortable place.. location is best in town being right by restaurants and bars but just off busy high street. Really cosy feeling to the place. Great walk on your doorstep around the park.
