Location was nice, quiet area. Host left fresh flowers which everyone in our group of 6 appreciated. There was a basket of welcome snacks which we loved. Visited during Christmas holidays and house had Christmas tree and decorations that were a BIG plus! Beds and pillows extremely comfortable.

The house is still an ongoing project, so there are some small things which could make our stay even better but Veronica is just an exceptional host and she did everything and even more that we asked for. Situated in Tipperary and only 16 km from University of Limerick, Birdhill Farmhouse features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is around 19 km from St. Mary's Cathedral Limerick, 20 km from The Hunt Museum and 20 km from King John's Castle. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Castletroy Golf Club. Can't say enough good things about our stay at Birdhill Farmhouse. Check in was a breeze and communication was fantastic from Sue beforehand. We were greeted by her husband and the many farm animals to the rear of the property. (Fred the St Bernard stole the show!) The house was very spacious, spotlessly clean and overall, a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. It was my friends birthday and I forgot to bring matches for the cake candles. Fear not, after a text to Sue, she had some dropped to the door! Would absolutely recommend Birdhill Farmhouse to anyone thinking about staying near Birdhill / killlaoe. Location is super convenient. :)
