Brand new, spotlessly clean and so tastefully decorated. As it was December the house was also done up for Christmas inside and out with a Christmas tree in both living areas. You really couldn't ask for better.

They left bread, homemade scones & jelly, and honey from their hives for us in the kitchen, and there was a small homemade soap for each guest. The cottage was comfortable, with great beds and lots of hot water, and had everything we needed for cooking our own meals there. Chris showed us around the farm on our last morning while he fed the animals, and we bought a few soaps from Steph before we left. They're delightful people who clearly love sharing their farm with others. There was a big storm one of the days we were there and we were cozy and happy spending time in the house, which is stocked with board games. The location was great for exploring the Beara Peninsula, which is stunning. We visited with friends who were visiting from America and we had plenty of space— this would be a great stay for families or groups of friends. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. place was excellent, so clean and big and everything worked well. Gorgeous place to stay only 10 mins from town. Will definitelty be back!

Curragh House Lodges had everything we needed and we enjoyed our two nights there. The rural setting is lovely, as is the forest walk nearby. Veronica and Maurice made us feel very welcome, and we appreciated the added touches of wine, bread and milk, very much.

With lake views, this accommodation features a patio. Guests have access to a sauna and hot tub. Beautifully appointed cottage, private and very comfortable, like a home away from home! The grounds are magnificent and peaceful, perfect for a romantic getaway. The pool is a wonderful added feature. The hosts Gerard and Ann gave us a warm welcome and they communicated with us before and during our stay for ease of arrival and check-in, as well as offering helpful tips during our stay. Good home base for day trips in and around west cork.
