Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. Beautiful place. Accomodation had everything we needed. I wish we had stayed longer.

The 3-bedroom holiday home has a living room with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 2 bathrooms with a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. This was an amazing experience, and we definitely recommend them.

Guests at the holiday home will be able to enjoy activities in and around Tomintoul, like cycling. The holiday home has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated.

This recently renovated holiday home is located 26 km from Carnegie Club Skibo Castle and 27 km from Royal Dornoch Golf Club. This was a great location to explore the area. Accommodations were lovely and comfortable and the views were stunning! Keith was great and communications from Rachel were friendly and warm and welcoming.
