The kitchen is very well-equipped with all the utensils and tools you might need, making it easy to prepare meals without bringing anything extra. The cottage also features a relaxing sauna and a cozy fireplace, with firewood generously provided by the hosts. When we arrived, the house was super clean and everything was working. Additionally, there is an extensive set of cleaning supplies available to maintain the same level of cleanliness when leaving. While the house doesn’t have Wi-Fi, we found this to be a positive aspect, as it encouraged us to set our phones aside and enjoy quality time together. However, if you heavily depend on Wi-Fi, it’s something to keep in mind. The cottage also includes a drying rack, which is particularly useful for drying clothes after a full day of skiing. Speaking of skiing, this location is perfect for ski trips—it’s less than a 40-minute drive to Levi and only about 10 minutes to Ylläs. There’s convenient parking right in front of the house, and with the hosts' permission, it’s possible to charge electric or hybrid cars. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we highly recommend this place. Marjo and Jukka are polite and very responsive hosts, always quick to answer any questions.

And the highlight of our stay: we were lucky enough to see the northern lights two nights in a row!
