Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Landscape was great ! Sharon and Eric were excelent hosts! There were two sloths in their garden . Breakfast was Great! Room was very nice, tidy and clean. There was a microwave and a fridge in the room. Courtesy coffe at anytime. They provide you with towels for the beach that was very near. We could left our rented car at their place while we traveled a few days to Bocas del Toro in Panama.

Ok, let me start with the fact I almost never share comments on booking.com. But for Los Delfinos Lodge I want to make an exception. Miguel is absolutely AMAZING. Oh and did I say that the property is as amazing as Miguel? The hospitality, the car drive in the night to the city Center, the stories about the environment, the bikes, the beds. Lovely to wake up with the sound of howler monkeys and then make our breakfast in our own kitchen. This is the message you wanted to read in the reviews: go to los delfinos lodge, you won’t regret it! 🙏 ❤️🍀

Spectacular place in the middle of peace, forest and safety. Wonderful host and amenities. Near by downtown but yet far enough for peace and quiet. Went by myself with my dog and we had an amazing time.

It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really
