The shared living room / dining/ kitchen is fabulous. You might share it only with two other couples and the view is stunning at all times. It is so homey, well equipped, with a nice decor. It should be on everyone’s bucket list. You even have a view while you shower. Rooms have a nice size and comfortable as well.

Truly an amazing place. I spent a long time looking for the right stay around Minca, and I’m really glad I chose La Casa Del Mono. Our stay was fantastic - beautiful, charming, and surprisingly mosquito-free thanks to the well-designed mosquito nets all around the house. We did see a few tiny ants, but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not bothersome. The location is excellent: close to hiking trails, restaurants, and Minca itself. It’s easy to access (not on some difficult off-road path!), yet still feels private, peaceful, and cozy. We heard some distant music one evening, but it didn’t last long. The real soundtrack was the monkeys in the morning -once we even saw them walking through the trees nearby! The host was super friendly, helpful, and very communicative. A solid 5-star stay.

This place was the perfect spot for my birthday and my stay in Minca. Clean, cozy and perfect location. Morgan treated us very well and helped us out when we needed it. A beautiful place to stay! Theo was a great host, helping us with the information to get to the property (which can be tricky) and then having someone meet us once there. We were able to access the property with a SUV but would definitely recommend a 4x4 if driving up. The location was stunning and we were able to see so many birds from our accommodation- the highlight was a toucan that landed in the tree in front of the balcony!
