Visit started with friendly and helpful welcome. Property is as described and everything clean and in good condition. Rose gardens are beautiful and we're not expected in this location. Owner promptly solved a problem of my own making. Beautiful setting, made better by sitting on the patio into the evening. Highly recommended.

The round house was quite spacious and very well equipped. The garden and pool were a plus. It was very private, safe and comfortable. Especially nice was the bird feeder that attracted so many of South Africa's attaractive birds. The house is very close to hiking trails and a very short drive to bird hides, restaurants, markets etc.

Absolutely a wonderful stay! Immaculate home immersed in a wonderful garden and a fabulous braai area, kitchen fantastically equipped, dream beds, very comfortable big volume ideal also for a long stay! Honesty bar is a very welcoming feature and fresh bread, milk and farm butter on arrival. The owners are just friendliest and most accommodating! We’ll certainly book again!

The property was well-kept and enticing. The cottage came with all the expected amenities, it was comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was filled and ready to go. There was sufficient wood for the hot tub and fireplace. The braai came with charcoal and firelighters. The property had many different activities with all the required equipment, including a tennis court, cycling, and kayaking on the small dam. The location is peaceful and surrounded by pristine bush. The breakfast with brilliant and a complete surprise.

Lovely spacious old-style cottage. Comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen area, very nice bathroom. Access to private backyard area. Safe off-street parking and a lovely mountain view from the front yard. The host was brilliant! Friendly, approachable and helpful. She made us feel right at home from the offset and shared her local knowledge which helped us a lot during our stay. We will definitely stay at Krom Cottage again next time we're in Montague.
