First of all we would like to express our gratitude for the warm welcome we received from our host Alexandre. Our stay at Lakeside Aurora Cabin is one of the most beautiful of our lives. The location on the lake was magical. In the clean and warm cottage we felt at home immediately. Enjoyed the atmospheric vibe and every evening our private sauna was fantastic. We came for the northern lights and were lucky enough to see them every evening and capture them on film. Due to the beautiful location it was super clear to see. It was a late-minute booking from the Kunglseden trip, and only this cabin was available in our budget. We needed to kill the time before our night train to Stockholm, and staying there was beyond our expectations! The cabin (twin room) was pleasantly warm, equipped with a small kitchenette fridge and TV. The toilet and sauna were a few steps outside away - we didn't mind that inconvenience. The sauna was self-running, and cleaning instructions were provided across the whole house. We were lucky as we were able to catch up with the first aurora borealis in the new season, as the beautiful garden was the perfect spot for taking pictures/videos of them! The supermarket Coop was nearby and was convenient for us.

Pretty nice and clean house in part of the town, which is still lucky to be not forced to move due to mining. Nice neighbourhood in walking distance to the main church (unfortunately it will move 8/25 to a new place in the other part of the town). We stayed overnight and everything worked just fine. Recommended.

Very nice, spacious and clean flat with everything you need. Very friendly, helpful and caring host. Jessica helped us when we needed dressings and medicine. Beautiful surroundings and a base for travelling towards Kiruna and Abisko. Breakfast was tasty and was served to us at a convenient hour. I heartily recommend this facility!
