We loved the fact that the owner was there to greet us (which often doesn't happen these days). The cottage itself was lovely and very traditional with everything we needed plus an excellent internet speed (much better than our home speed). There is a pool and sunbathing area with sunbeds but as we arrived after 6pm we didn't use these. Parking is onsite and secure (there are electric gates) so if you're stopping here en route to somewhere else and have a car full of luggage then you know it'll be safe.

It's a small piece of heaven "in the middle of nowhere". Vasco is a great host, communication was very quick and he even offered to drive me to the bus station when I was leaving! The place is simply wonderful - in an old house, beautifully renowated with modern amenities, absolutely cozy and comfortable. It was very clean and very spacious. The terraces, the garden, the view, the quiet, the starry night sky and bats flying around... I was so sorry I couldn't stay longer. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to come back one day! I would give 15 points if I could 😁

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s beautiful, extremely spacious, spotless, and very tidy. The garden is perfectly manicured, and the pool is gorgeous — sadly, the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we’d have liked. The beds are very comfortable, and the house has everything you need to cook (although we didn’t have to). The fact that it’s pet friendly is a big plus! Our dog Maria felt right at home. Our host was incredibly attentive and responsive at all times, which made our stay even better. I would totally recommend this property and will definitely be staying here again.

The setting was lovely and private. We had our little do along and she could run around safely. The kitchen was well equiped for making dinner and the rest of the place was very comfortable. The host was very kind and even let us pick fresh oranges off their trees - what a treat. They were so delicious.

Our host was very gracious to allow an earlier check-in. Everything was provided incl washing machine, detergent, drying line and pegs. (hiker bonus😂). Coffee machine (espresso) with a few capsules for an early coffee. The restaurant that apparently serves amazing suckling pig is closed on Sundays. If you're hiking you'll need to bring in food that day. It opens 6.30am for an early coffee fix. Use the door on far right. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute and cosy place.

The moment we arrived we relaxed. There decor and furnishings are beautiful- and we even had wine, bread, cheese, eggs and milk waiting for us- which was very well received before we could get to the supermarket
