This is a fantastic place and the couple who run it are wonderfully caring. Everything worked perfectly. The only sad thing was that we had so little time there, only one night, as we had to catch an early morning flight. So we never saw the garden in daylight.

Casa Cayenne is such a cozy and great place to stay at, it is really close to Ponta Delgada center by car, and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Plus it's on a pineapple greenhouse plantation, making it super unique! The garden on site from which you can pick herbs and salad is a really great addition, as is the pineapple culture tour given by Luis. Luis and Noelia are such great hosts, super welcoming ! Communication was fast and easy. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend a few days on Sao Miguel Island.

Beautifully appointed apartment with a very convenient location. Convenient parking right at the door of the house. On the neighboring street in 2 minutes walk there is a coffee shop, grocery store with everything you need. To the city center 7 minutes on foot. The owners are super hospitable, caring like your closest friends. So careful to take care of your stay that you only want to come back here. Which we will be. Thank you so much.

The house was very spacious, very clean and very well equipped. There were essential provisions there for us to use which was very kind of the host. Plenty of towels including ones to take to the thermal baths or the beach. We could not have got more.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at Casa Cecilia Meireles. Our Airbnb reservation was cancelled and we needed to find something the same afternoon. Once we booked here, the communication was instantaneous, clear, and friendly. We had no issues finding the property and entering, and when we did, we found a luxurious, clean, and comfortable home for our stay in Ponta Delgada. The house is really top-spec inside, with lovely bedrooms and very new bathrooms and kitchen. A big selling point is the small garden, which has a covered table for eating meals (we did breakfast and dinner) and some astroturf for enjoying the sun. We had a car, so it wasn't an issue that the property is slightly outside of the city centre. We parked on the street (rather than in the garage), which also caused us no problems. And when we wanted to visit restaurants in the evening, it was often a pleasant walk into town (although admittedly we did take taxis back - who wants to walk late in the evening after a big meal!). The only feedback I would give to the owners would be to ensure cooking basics like oil are available - especially as the kitchen is so gorgeous! All in all, we're really pleased that our Airbnb booking fell through so we were able to stay here.

The location is excellent with unobstructed views over the wild atlantic ocean. The remote controlled gated entry is a touch of luxury as is the driveway length koi pond. Loads of space inside and out. The pool was cold, though they had a hot tub which allowed cold swimming and then warming up after. I got quite addicted to my morning cold plunges! All the rooms have beautiful views and are enormous.
