Brilliantly quiet location with just the sound of the sea waves. Larger than expected place with comfy bed , sofa etc. Excellent base for stay.

Arriving here felt like home immediately. A great area, and very close to Dunedin. Carolyn explained all there is to know and made us feel very welcome. Everything you could possibly need was facilitated! Snacks, coffee, tea, oils, some herbs. In the bathroom was shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, lotions, serum, cleanser, towels, all of it. When we left we discussed it kinda felt like visiting our parents for a few days. I’ve left my washing out and it started raining and Steve was kind enough to transfer it to a covered area without us asking. Such a lovely gesture!

Best house ever — friendly and responsive host, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. We had a really good family time here. Definitely coming back again if we return to Dunedin.
