Much better than the photos!!! A great cottage in a lovely, quiet location. Such comfy seating in the open plan lounge. Huge TV! The main bedroom was perfect for us. I really liked that there were place mats to prevent any damage to bed side table surfaces and for the lounge.( I do travel with a couple of coasters- I know its a bit odd !!!) Good shower. The covered outside seating area was a fab place for relaxing with a good book.

Amazing tiny home in an awesome quiet, peaceful and elevated location with spectacular views down Akaroa harbour. 15 min drive into Akaroa but the tranquil peaceful location is magic. Accomodation is on a lavender farm and there are walking trails and full access to the rows of lavender. Lyn and Malcolm were exceptional hosts! Very friendly, kind and at tentative to our needs. Make sure to purchase some pacific blue lavender essential oil! Nice touches in the tiny house - with cushions that showcase the indigenous pigeons the place is named after and lavender water spray. Note that the toilet is a cassette toilet - this was not a problem for us - but it may be a surprise to others

What a stunning property, view from the balcony and house was gorgeous. Perfect for big groups and lots of space to spread out so you didn’t feel as if you were on top of each other. The added bonus of having a fire with firewood was great and the heat pump kept the house warm if you not keen on lighting the fire. Great entertaining area with large outdoor dinning table and bbq and great outlook. Close to the start of the waterfall walk and stony bay peak. Super clean and tidy with a well stocked kitchen of dinnerware and glasses

The hot tub was fantastic especially when the clouds cleared and the stars came out to play. Lovely outdoor seating area and the garden was very secluded and private. Loved it and hope to be back soon. Thanks to Jess and Cam, the hosts, who were extremely helpful
