I was welcomed and cared for in an outmost great manner by Ruban, Lisha and Desmand. They were always present and ready to help out with any requests. My departure day included another personal service- all the way to the train station including the waiting time there. The food is simply wonderful. A tour, behind the scene at the tea factory was a learning curve and definitely another high point. Never again will I have a cup of tea without gratitude to the hard working tea pluckers (mature women), field and factory workers. Just to learn about tea. What it is, and the different stages of production? The bungalow is the only place that offers a field and factory tour combined. The tea pluckers will eventually fade away as young people do not want to take over. So there is a shift on its way. The bungalow, as well as the Tea Queen bungalow ( 10 years old) are tucked away above the town Norwood. The area is great for hiking, walking. To visit this unique place is totally recommended.

Wonderful big and cozy rooms. Perfect light concept and high class furniture. Operating since 2017, so all still looks very fresh and inviting in English country style design with modern touch. In short it was perfect. Lakshman and his team were so friendly and give high class service. Exceeded all expectations. 12 points out of 10. Dinner and breakfast were top. Opening the windows for fresh air in the morning - super, after the heat in the cultural triangle. For once you appreciate the heater instead of aircon. Tea plantations walk behind the house is unforgettable. Oliphant is a place you don’t want to leave. Two nights stay recommended. Very quiet location in a gardenstyle setting. 7 rooms.

Amazing Resort in the middle of the jungle! Perfect to stay if you want to visit Aberdeen and Laxapana Waterfalls. You get exactly what you expect from the photos. Villa Spring Acre is a beautiful house with great views. Rooms were clean and tidy. The most highlighted person was the care taker Selva , who took care of our every need. His cooking skills were brilliant and the food was delicious.
