We had a very nice stay there. The owner and her son were very very welcoming and super helpful! The view is stunning if it is sunny, rain or foggy! You are in the middle of the nature with a great view that you can enjoy from the terrace. The breakfast was very copious and absolutely delicious, as was the dinner we ordered! The bed are very large and comfy, and you can stay with 4 people in the same room. Shower was warm and everything was clean. We had a very relaxing time and we would recommend this place to anyone!

This was my favorite stay in Sri Lanka during my nearly two-month journey across the country. From the warmth of the hosts, Maduranga and his wife, to the tranquil and beautiful cottage, and the incredibly generous and delicious breakfast, Astral Zone is a must-book for your stay in Ella. Situated just 10 minutes away from Ella city, it offers a peaceful retreat in a quiet village. Key landmarks such as Ella's Rock and waterfalls are within walking distance. We even embarked on a sunrise hike to Ella Rock with Maduranga's guide friend, Shashi, who was excellent. It's advisable to coordinate tuk-tuk pickups and drop-offs with Maduranga for fair prices. Additionally, don't miss the cooking classes led by his wife; we had a fantastic time learning to make authentic Sri Lankan food in their kitchen. Overall, the hospitality of Maduranga and his family is what sets this spot apart. I can't wait to return here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Ella Silloam very much. The property is not finished so it does seem a little odd from the outside, but the room inside was the nicest one we had in Sri Lanka. Our room and the bathroom were new, modern and clean. We also enjoyed a beautiful balcony with the view into the mountains where we had breakfast every day. Also we were working there fow a while without any problems. The host was really nice to us, she arranged a scooter for us, recommeneded us all the places we can visit in Ella, took care of our laundry, made us coffee and also arrange a cooking class with her sister in a traditional kitchen, which was superb! The location is also nice, it is a little up the hill from the city centre, but very close to Nine Arch Bridge and also Little Adam's peak (we visited both on foot from the accommodation).

Excellent hospitality, good quiet location away from downtown. Close to other scenic spots. They organised a tuk tuk service - very helpful. Food was outstanding. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, luxurious and well equipped.

I had a wonderful stay at one of the best houses in Sri Lanka. The place is beautiful with a peaceful environment, and the food was excellent, especially the breakfast with fresh local fruits. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy, which made the stay very relaxing. The house is located very close to Ella city less than 10 minutes away and it’s easy to find affordable taxi and 24-hour tuk-tuk services. This place gave me unforgettable memories, and I definitely want to come again. I highly recommend this house for families and couples looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. It felt more like a home away from home than just a hotel rooms.definitely we will back.

We truly enjoyed our stay and felt welcome and safe throughout our visit. The house is spacious, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills, including the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery. The hosting family is incredibly kind, and the meals they prepared were a real highlight — delicious, plenty, and made with great care. The location is a bit remote, so occasionally tuktuk drivers would only take us to the main road rather than directly to the house. However, you can join the trail to the wonderful Ella Rock hike close to the house half way, so you can be there at sunrise more easily. Overall, a wonderful stay with warm hospitality and great access to nature. Highly recommended!

This accommodation was stunning. The room over looks the forest, it is so peaceful and beautiful, we liked that it was a little out of the busy loud town. It was only a short walk down the train tracks to town anyways. The family was so sweet and so accomodating. The breakfast was also the best weve had the whole trip. We wish we’d stayed longer. Definitely recommend this place to everyone, its beautiful.

The location was exceptionally stunning. High up in the mountain overlooking tea plantations and a valley below, it was breathtaking. We were given a very warm welcome by a team of staff who took good care of our needs. The house was beautifully appointed, luxurious and super comfortable.

Amazing place, thanks to Lal property manager for all the help and for the exceptional service highly recommended, its close to Ella but away from too many tourists. There is a tv with English movies, washing machine and cooking facilities we had a great time and would stay again, thanks Lal!

It was simply an amazing experience. We had a wonderful time at the property, gorgeous private villa, beautiful location, gorgeous views and amazing hosts. The villa is spacious, newly built, clean and fully equipped. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous cabins just outside Ella town for an excellent price. Staff and owner are amazing and so kind - they catered to our every need and took good care of us. The views are stunning, the cabins have every luxury you need (including Netflix!) and we loved the private pool and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was also delicious!
