we really enjoyed staying at that nice cottage in Ella, the view from the room is stunning and beautiful view which refresh us eveyday, the host of that cottage is so gentle and friendly, she is so carefull for everything to make your staying perfect, the breakfast,lunch and dinner with view is just so delicious and she cooks very well, we enjoyed dinner and lunch so much, everytime we ate à lot, she is so helpfull too , she came with us to the bus stand to help to ride the bus to go to galle. we defenetly recommande that cottage , not far from the Ella city, hot water and confortable bed everything is perfect, the high quality of price. we would like to thank to the host for everything. we would like to come back again and stay at this beautiful cottage.

Lovely little hideaway. The owner kindly arranged for a tuk tuk to collect us from the train station.The cottage was so homely and well equipped with everything you might need. We loved the veranda where you could relax and enjoy the quiet view down to Ella. It was really cool to see the trains coming along the line as well ( there aren't that many trains!) The owners wife cooked us dinner and breakfast - both meals were traditional Sri Lankan and really delicious. This property is a real gem if you like an authentic and home from home experience.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. It felt more like a home away from home than just a hotel rooms.definitely we will back.

We stayed one night at The Palace Eco Cottage in Ella and absolutely loved it. The cottage sits high up in the hills, and the view over the valley and surrounding landscape is simply stunning—one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. The room was very spacious, spotless, and felt incredibly peaceful. We would recommend it for the setting alone, but what truly makes this place special is the owner. She is such a dedicated, warm, and genuinely friendly person, and you can feel her attention to detail in everything—from the rooms to the food. We had an incredible breakfast with eggs, fresh vegetables, fruits, and delicious sweet treats. Honestly, it was one of the best breakfasts we had during our entire trip in Sri Lanka. She also offered us lunch and dinner—completely free of charge—which was unbelievably kind. We had already made plans in town, so we didn’t get to try it, but if breakfast was any indication, it must be amazing as well. A real highlight was the family’s generosity in offering to drive us to Ella town in their tuk tuk whenever we needed, again free of charge. It made everything so easy and added such a personal touch to the stay. All in all, we can’t recommend The Palace Eco Cottage enough. A beautiful place with incredible hospitality—if you’re coming to Ella, this is truly a wonderful spot to stay.

This accommodation was stunning. The room over looks the forest, it is so peaceful and beautiful, we liked that it was a little out of the busy loud town. It was only a short walk down the train tracks to town anyways. The family was so sweet and so accomodating. The breakfast was also the best weve had the whole trip. We wish we’d stayed longer. Definitely recommend this place to everyone, its beautiful.

It’s a clean well equipped cottage tucked away in the mountains surrounded by nature. Excellent kitchen- with cooking facilities, Laundry - with washing machine and clothes dryer. It was simply an amazing experience. We had a wonderful time at the property, gorgeous private villa, beautiful location, gorgeous views and amazing hosts. The villa is spacious, newly built, clean and fully equipped. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous cabins just outside Ella town for an excellent price. Staff and owner are amazing and so kind - they catered to our every need and took good care of us. The views are stunning, the cabins have every luxury you need (including Netflix!) and we loved the private pool and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was also delicious!
